With all of the moving parts of planning a wedding, you’re just not sure WHEN you should go shopping for your gown.
When it comes to wedding dress shopping, there is no one-size-fits all timeline. Every bride that comes in our doors has their own unique vision and timeline. The great news is, whether your wedding is in a couple years, in a few months or a few days, we are here to help you find your dream gown!
Traditionally, special order bridal shops recommend that you start shopping for your gown 9-12 months before your wedding, and for good reason! Special order gowns can take anywhere from 3-8 months to be made, plus you typically need ~3 months for alterations!

The amazing thing about our funky little loft is that all of our gowns are available off-the-rack, so if you find your gown at your appointment, you’ll be able to take it home that same day!! Keep in mind, most brides need alterations, which typically take about 3 months. If you don’t have 3 months, do not worry, there are always options for rush alterations, which can be completed on a shorter timeline! However, if you’re one of the lucky ones whose gown fits them like a glove, you can go and get married the very same day as your appointment! Pretty cool, huh?
