Welcome back to the Dearly Bride Blog, where we share stories about our real brides and their gorgeous weddings! In today's post, our real bride's wedding was the epitome of intimate, boho simplicity—proof that small celebrations can be just as magical. With a vision of love-filled moments surrounded by her closest family and friends, she crafted a day that was personal and heartfelt. From finding the perfect dress to savoring authentic street tacos and capturing memories with her incredible photographer, every detail came together beautifully. With touches like a memorial button honoring her loved ones and her children playing a special role in the ceremony, Kalie’s wedding was everything she envisioned and more. Her advice? If a smaller, intimate wedding feels right for you, go for it—you won’t regret making it truly your own!

By our real bride, Kalie:

What was the vision for your wedding?

I think our day turned out perfectly, I envisioned it to be small, simple and a little boho. And that’s how it came together with a few changes, my dress being one of them but my dress couldn’t have been more perfect because of you guys! We didn’t have a lot of vendors since it was so small and intimate, but the food and location was perfect. I e wanted street tacos so we did some searching and found the best authentic ones around. Plus our photographer was the absolute best and captured our day perfectly, so that when I look at them I feel like I’m reliving it all over again!

How did it go the day-of?

Our day was perfect and full of love! We had the most important people in our lives there to celebrate us and witness the most special day of our lives. It went so smoothly with really no hiccups, the weather was stunning and the small details we added were perfection, from the flowers down to my in-loving-memory button for my flowers for my brother and grandma who couldn’t be there. We did a somewhat traditional wedding and our kids all got to be a part of it which was all we needed!

What is your #1 tip to future brides?

To the brides who want to have a smaller wedding, DO IT! You will not regret it. This is your day and you get to choose how you want it!
