Welcome back to the Dearly Bride Blog, where we share stories about our real brides and their gorgeous weddings! In today's post, our real bride created a wedding that truly felt like it was meant just for them—this couple poured their hearts into making their big day a reflection of their shared life together. From incorporating a dark green accent inspired by their home's decor to featuring adorable table numbers with photos of their beloved Rottweiler, Rudy, every detail told their story. Choosing vendors who not only fit the vision but also brought comfort and connection added an extra layer of warmth to their celebration. Surrounded by a chosen family of lifelong friends and loved ones from every chapter of their lives, they created unforgettable moments, complete with unique touches like a cotton candy spinner and a permanent bracelet experience for the bridal party. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

What was the vision for your wedding?

The most important thing I cared about for the vision of our wedding was that it felt like it was meant just for us. I took details from the life we have built together and brought them out at our wedding. For example: in our home that we bought together, we have a large, dark green accent wall that we love, and that was the main color of the wedding. Also, our entire lives revolve around our 3-year-old Rottweiler, Rudy. So our table numbers were framed in black and white pictures of Rudy with the number. When choosing vendors we wanted to make sure that we chose those that fit into our vision. I thought to myself "These professionals are going to be involved in such an important day and such vulnerable moments, I want to make sure we pick people that would make us feel comfortable and loved in our everyday life." And I am so thankful! Once we narrowed down vendors within our budget and could meet the basic needs, we focused on reviews from other brides and reading the "why" in their biography. It mattered that we felt like we could vibe and enjoy our time with them.

How did it go the day-of?:

We had the best time with the best people in our life! We both don't have very much biological family, so instead have a lot of friends who are family. We had people fly in from all over to celebrate with us and it just felt so special to have loved ones from all chapters of your life join together like that. A couple of special touches include having a cotton candy spinner during the reception and hiring a permanent bracelet lady to come to be with all of us girls the morning of the wedding while getting ready.

What is your #1 tip to future brides?

I know it's chaotic no matter what but schedule in time for you and your partner to just sit in the big moment and soak it in.
