What was the vision for your wedding?

Woodsy, natural, whimsical. It ended up exactly how we imagined—googled my vendors and/or asked local Facebook groups for recommendations.

How did it go the day-of?

We planned our wedding in under four months, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We didn’t stress about little details too much. We had timeless baby’s breath everywhere and pictures of us as babies as our wedding numbers. Something nontraditional and special was that my wife and I walked each other down the aisle, and we said our private vows. We had Costco pizza!

What is your #1 tip to future brides?

We didn’t invite family just because they are family or people we know just because. We went with our closest most supportive peeps and didn’t worry about hurting feelings. Second, we didn’t worry about a bunch of alcohol or fancy food- we bought enough seltzers and Costco pizza forever to have two. We set up as much as we could the day before that way the day of my wife and I could spend as much time as possible together the day of!
