Today, we're sharing the experience of a bride who also had some reservations about dress shopping, but found her dream dress at Dearly. Her vision for her wedding was an intimate, cozy ceremony followed by a dinner with loved ones. And on the day-of, everything was perfect - from the magical first-look photos at Manito Park to the delicious dinner at Féte in downtown Spokane with 45 close friends and family.

For all the future brides out there, our bride has some great advice - your wedding day should be a reflection of you and your fiancé. With that in mind, let's dive into this bride's wonderful wedding experience and get inspired for your own big day!

By our real bride, Rebecca:

How was wedding dress shopping and wedding planning for you? What was your vision?

I loved my experience at Dearly! My stylist was so kind and made the shopping experience both comfortable and fun. As an older bride, I was a little nervous about finding a dress. I wanted clean and simple, classic and modern, with a touch of vintage. And I found exactly that during my first appointment at Dearly! Our vision for our wedding was an intimate, cozy ceremony followed by a wedding dinner.

How did it go the day-of?

The day of was perfect! We met our photographer at Manito Park for our first look photos. While we were absolutely freezing - the photos were worth it! They are magical! Our ceremony and wedding dinner were held at Féte in downtown Spokane. Our 45 guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks while we took family photos and then we all sat down to a delicious dinner!

What would be your advice to future brides?

Your wedding day should be a reflection of you and your fiancé. What is important to you? There are a lot of traditions and expectations surrounding weddings and there will be pressure from family and friends to keep those traditions and meet those expectations - but decide early on what is important to you and your fiancé and stay true to that!
