This blog post is all about a bride's elegant and classic wedding vision that came to life. The bride wanted to embrace the stunning historical elements of the venue and incorporated French blue with silver accents, tapered candles, and flowers everywhere. On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect, and the couple danced into the night with drinks flowing and a DJ keeping the party going until 2 am. The bride's #1 tip for future brides is to establish a rule where you get to eat uninterrupted and tune everyone and everything out when saying your vows, making it feel like you're the only two people on the planet.
Stephanie looked BEAUTIFUL in this Justin Alexander dress. This fit and flare gown has a beautifully simple Mikado skirt with dainty lace throughout the bodice, creating a soft, romantic look.
By our real bride, Stephanie:
What was the vision for your wedding?
We wanted elegant and classic and to lean into the stunning historical elements of the venue. It ended up being exactly the vision of my Pinterest board: French blue with silver accents, tapered candles, and flowers everywhere.
How did it go the day-of?
It was perfect! We had a popsicle cart that was a lifesaver since it was a hot day. The drinks were flowing and we were dancing into the night. Our DJ even moved into the mansion around ten and kept the party going inside the venue until 2 am!
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
If you can establish a rule where you get to eat uninterrupted, DO IT! I felt like I could hardly take a bite before another person walked up, but fortunately, our DJ stepped in and made sure we got to eat. That made all the difference and allowed us to stay on our feet for longer and enjoy the evening more.
Also, tune everyone and everything else out when you are saying your vows. It should feel like you are the only two people on the planet.
